Every council has a duty to provide evidence that it is achieving continuous improvement, through a combination of Economy, Efficiency and Effectiveness.
To understand what changes to make and where improvements are needed, we have to be good at managing our performance.
Good performance management supports the delivery of services and helps us to achieve the Councilís priorities.
The current Council priorities are set until 2014 and can be seen in The Council Plan.
Progress against these priorities are monitored regularly using a set of Performance Reports.
