Penrith library is hosting a drop-in session this Sunday (7 September 2008), where people will be able to get advice on researching their family tree.
Family history research has grown tremendously in popularity in recent years, due in part to the success of programmes such as the BBC's 'Who do you think you are?'
The library is inviting people to come along who may have thought about researching their family history, but haven't done so because they weren't sure how to get started. On Sunday, between 12 noon and 4pm, library staff will be on hand to give help and advice on where to begin.
For more information about what's on offer on Sunday, call into Penrith library, St Andrew's churchyard, or call 01768 812100.
