Cumbria Children Services

Welcome to Children’s Services. We are responsible for a wide range of services for children, young people, their families and schools in Cumbria including education for all ages, social care, youth support, education welfare, children’s centres, extended services, special educational needs and children with disabilities.

We want the best for every child, young person and family, enabling children and young persons to stay safe, be healthy, enjoy and achieve, make a positive contribution and achieve economic well-being.

There are currently over 112,000 children and young people aged 0-19 in Cumbria and we can only achieve this by working closely with other organisations across Cumbria who also support children and young people and their families.

Together we can achieve the best for every child, young person and their family in Cumbria.
